EastEnders has teased a major Tommy Moon twist following Alfie’s warning.
Tommy has been acting out since his mum Kat Slater split from Phil Mitchell, going as far as to punch her in the stomach and then call police to report he’d been abused.
Earlier this week, Alfie realised that Kat’s concerns about Tommy’s violent behaviour were valid when the boy started acting aggressively towards the twins.
In Tuesday’s (July 30) episode on BBC Two, Alfie tried to take a hard line with Tommy during a heated conversation at the cafe.
Alfie grabbed Tommy’s shirt while warning him he wouldn’t get away with bullying his mother or siblings. Tommy seemed to get the message as he agreed to shape up.

Back at the house, Tommy pretended to change his ways by doing household chores. Alfie then tried to convince Kat to give Tommy another chance given all he’s experienced.
“The stuff he’s seen, the violence, you add to the mix me not being around time and time again, I’m surprised he hasn’t kicked off sooner,” Alfie said.
Alfie argued that Tommy has been telling them what he needs — a dad. While Kat chuckled at Alfie’s plan to be a “big, strong, no-nonsense” father, he vowed to keep Tommy in line.

He also convinced Kat to return to her family caravan holiday as he kept watch over Tommy back in Walford.

“It’ll do you and Tommy a world of good having some time apart,” Alfie suggested. “Maybe I might be able to get through to him.”
Tommy was listening to his parents’ conversation as he cleaned off the counters. He could barely contain a sinister smile as Kat agreed to leave with the twins.
