EMMERDALE fans are baffled as to how a whopping seven characters are all living in a tiny cottage.
Keepers Cottage – currently owned by Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) dates back to the 1700s in the soap’s timeline.
Yet, viewers have been left scratching their heads as to how the small space has accommodated seven people.
Taking to Reddit, one fan wrote: “So Keepers Cottage already has 4 bedrooms for Victoria, Amy & Matty, Kerry, Harry and presumably somewhere for Kyle to stay.
“I’ll be generous and say Kyle stays in Harry’s room.
“But now John is staying over, so there must be at least 5 bedrooms! That house is tiny downstairs, where is all this space coming from!?”

Another added: “7 persons housing in what looks to be 400 square feet maximum; cozy.”
While a third shared: “I’ve only watched since December and didn’t realize Matty and Amy lived with Victoria (or Kerry). I barely remember Harry lives with Victoria.
“I also am surprised to learn Victoria’s house is a house. I thought it was just a flat with maybe two bedrooms.
“Someone said it here already, that living space and kitchen looks so small.”
A fourth chimed in: “All the houses in Emmerdale are basically TARDISs. I’d love to see a infographic / map of the village showing where everyone lives, it’s hilarious.”
Victoria and her son Harry (Adam Pryor) are among the many residents of Keepers Cottage.

Joining them are Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson), Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) and Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton).
Amy’s son Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn) is an occasional resident.
Most recently, Victoria’s newly-discovered half-brother John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) has moved in to the property.
However, the property may not be cramped for too long as John is all too keen to get out of Emmerdale.

John arrived for the funeral of his mother, Barbara – and hadn’t intended to stick around any longer than that.
With the newcomer having faced a major setback, his departure might take longer than John ever anticipated.
