EastEnders is set to air another twist for The Six after months of lies, blackmail and betrayal.
Soap fans will recall that over the festive period, The Six – made up of Denise, Stacey Slater, Suki Panesar, Linda Carter, Sharon Watts and Kathy Beale – grouped together to cover up a murder.
During the explosive Christmas Day episode, Suki’s abusive husband Nish Panesar tried to stop her from leaving him for lover Eve Unwin as he got aggressive. The Six stepped in, where Denise whacked him over the head with a Champagne bottle.
After thinking he was dead, he was able to be revived but during the dramatic scenes, Sharon’s jilted groom Keanu showed up and attempted to take her son, Albie, where he started strangling Sharon to which Linda stabbed him.
So far, The Six have covered up the murder by hiding Keanu’s body in the abandoned café following the fire, pretending Keanu attacked Nish before going on the run
Over the past few months, they’ve turned to residents such as Johnny Carter, Jack Branning and Phil Mitchell for help in a bid to keep their dark secret under wraps for as long as possible.
In recent week, Linda has been receiving poison pen letters and texts from an unknown number blackmailing her to come forward about what happened to Keanu.
Linda framed Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) for the crime with the help of The Six and he recently recruited Keanu’s grieving sister Bernie to help him get out of prison by proving that Linda was to blame for her brother’s death.
In upcoming scenes, EastEnders spoilers reveal that Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is spooked when she receives an ominous message. Later, Bernie unknowingly drops her burner phone in the cafe. Who will find the phone and will Sharon be able to work out who is behind the cryptic text before its too late?
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
