EastEnders fans have ‘worked out’ what Teddy Mitchell has got up his sleeve for Reiss Colwell – and it’s not looking good.
Soap newbie Teddy (played by Roland Manookian) made his debut earlier this year, rocking up to Walford with his family. However, over on the soap recently, fans have been left suspicious of Teddy.
As viewers will recall, accountant Reiss (Jonny Freeman) has found himself in serious money troubles recently. He ended up in debt recently to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) after lying about an investment scheme that would apparently pay them back double.
However, realising that Reiss was conning him, Phil was fuming and threatened him. He demanded that he wanted his money back by the end of the week – or else.
This week, Sharon told Teddy about Phil’s big deadline for Reiss’s money. And later on, Phil went all guns blazing around Sonia and Reiss’ home – only for Teddy and Sharon to calm him down. Sharon insisted that she would sort the situation out herself, and later on, Teddy spoke to Phil, convincing him to let him handle Reiss – to which Phil agreed.
Teddy then headed round to visit Reiss to tell him that he was taking on his debt from Phil. Reiss was left stunned and confused by the revelation, and Teddy told him he could pay him back in instalments.
But if Reiss couldn’t get the money, Teddy said that he could work for him instead – and he nervously accepted the offer. However, fans now fear that Teddy is going to get Reiss to do some “dodgy” work for him – and if not, viewers think it won’t end well.
On an EastEnders Facebook fan page, one person said: “Can’t figure out that Teddy Mitchell, paying off Phil and taking on Reiss’s debt, he’s definitely up to no good.”
