A rageful Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) finds himself isolated from just about everyone in next week’s EastEnders, after his anger pushes those closest to him away.
The Walford hardman – who, lets be fair, isn’t exactly known for wearing his emotions on his sleeve – continues to drive a wedge between himself and everyone else as he refuses to welcome Stevie Mitchell (Alan Ford) back into the family fold.
The week begins with Phil enlisting his lawyer Ritchie Scott (Sian Webber) to dig up dirt on Stevie, and discovers that Stevie has been lying to son Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick).
After learning that birth mother Val is dead from Stevie, who shares the story of her tragic death, a heartbroken Billy turns to Phil for support, who tells him to wise up to who Stevie really is.
However, Billy’s son Will (Freddie Phillips) later accidentally reveals that Phil was the one who framed Stevie for stealing the charity money from Lola Pearce’s fundraiser, and Billy rages at Phil for trying to wreck his relationship with his dad.
Later in the week, Stevie announces he is planning to leave Walford, and has a confrontation with Phil, who is soon enraged to discover his car is missing and calls the police.
With Phil’s temper flaring, will he be able to put history to bed for the sake of the ‘faaaaamily’?
Phil Mitchell’s anger continues to cause havoc in next week’s EastEnders as his rage pushes his family further away. The Walford hardman, known for his explosive temper, isolates himself even more as he refuses to welcome Stevie Mitchell back into the family fold.
At the start of the week, Phil enlists his lawyer Ritchie Scott to uncover information about Stevie, leading to a shocking revelation about Stevie lying to Billy Mitchell. When Stevie shares the tragic news of Val’s death with Billy, a heartbroken Billy seeks comfort from Phil, who advises him to see Stevie’s true colors.
However, tensions escalate when Billy’s son Will accidentally exposes Phil’s role in framing Stevie for the charity money theft. Enraged, Billy confronts Phil, blaming him for trying to ruin his relationship with his father. As Stevie announces his plan to leave Walford, a showdown between him and Phil unfolds, resulting in Phil losing his cool when he discovers his missing car.
As the situation intensifies, will Phil be able to let go of the past for the sake of his family?
Meanwhile, a Mitchell family meal at Walford East sparks further conflict as Phil is initially excluded from the guest list. It’s not until Jay Brown extends an invitation that Phil joins the gathering. Despite Teddy’s efforts to reconcile the family, tensions rise when Phil makes hurtful remarks about Stevie, leading to a clash with Teddy’s son Harry over the missing car.
