This is the moment Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) furiously confronts new brother Teddy (Roland Manookian) in EastEnders after discovering a huge family secret.
In the episode of the BBC One soap broadcasted on July 8, it was Stevie’s (Alan Ford) birthday.
Once Billy realised he had forgotten his dad’s birthday, he set about organising a party in the pub to celebrate.
While this was going on, Phil (Steve McFadden) had turned detective and decided to work out what Stevie was hiding from Billy.
Previously, Billy dealt with the news Stevie has another family and is father to a man called Teddy, as well as granddad to two boys, but Phil remained certain that Stevie was still being dishonest.
During a phone call with Ritchie, Phil asked her to look into Stevie’s past.
Meanwhile, in the pub, Stevie was loving every moment of his family coming together to celebrate his birthday. Billy stood up and delivered his speech, and even mentioned his distant mother too, under the impression she’s ‘out there’ somewhere.
When Phil arrived with an angry look on his face, he told Stevie he knows exactly what he’s kept from Billy.
Back at home, Stevie handed Billy a birthday card that was addressed to Val, his mum.
Billy read the contents and assumed Stevie knew where she was. He then confirmed he’s known of Val’s whereabouts for ages, because she actually died shortly after leaving the family home when Billy was a child.
As if that wasn’t enough to process, Billy then learnt that Stevie thinks he is to blame for her death.
In these new pictures, we see the aftermath of this revelation and as expected, Billy is feeling overwhelmed with emotion.
He turns his attention to Teddy and lashes out at him, blaming the new face for being complicit in Stevie’s lies.
But how will he react?
And what does Teddy know about the death of Billy’s mum?
Discussing how this will impact Billy’s relationships with Teddy and his new nephews, actor Perry Fenwick said: ‘It does because Billy has everything thrown at him this week. What Billy thought he knew about his mum has been blown out of the water. Remember, he’s found out over a couple of weeks that he’s got a half-brother and two nephews, and now that his mum is dead. It throws him completely.
‘It’s absolutely devastating for Billy because the news she’s dead is hard enough, but there’s much more to it. Phil might argue that he’s protecting Billy, but he’s not thinking about Billy when he gets Stevie to break the news like that.
‘For all Phil knows, it could send Bil
