LAUREN Branning going to be left reeling after discovering something is not right with her son this week in EastEnders.
The mum has been worried about her boy ever since she realised that he has been struggling at school.
In upcoming scenes Lauren gets defensive when another Walford local confronts her about Louie’s academic problems.
After Junior Knight looks after the boy while he joins in a game of football with Alfie and Tommy, he decides to voice his concerns to Lauren.
She storms off, furious that Junior would imply that her son isn’t clever.
However, after talking about the incident with Penny, Lauren realises Junior might have her son’s best interests at heart.
Penny also shares that she has been wondering if everything was okay with Louie as she too noticed he was having a difficult time with his lessons.
After some encouragement from Kathy, Lauren decides to meet Junior at The Vic for a pint and apologises for lashing out at him.
She decides to do some more digging into Louie’s situation herself to find out if there is a reason why he has been struggling.
Sadly, as Kathy and Junior continue to make comments to Lauren about her son, she ends up having a big blow out with both Walford residents.
As Louie’s grades continue to drop, will his dad Peter step up to the bat and help figure out what is going on?
And will Lauren be able to let her guard down enough to accept the help of her friends?
Lauren previously faced a rough awakening on EastEnders when she was exposed for romping with Zak while he was engaged to her best friend, Whitney.
This left her without many friends in Albert Square as Whitney’s friends and family turned against her.
Despite her offences, her ex boyfriend and son’s father Peter Beale supported her through the backlash.
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
