EastEnders clears up the mystery of Ian Beale’s (Adam Woodyatt) major secret next week, as confirmed in my new spoiler pictures.
The long-serving mainstay, as fans know, has been keeping something pretty big close to his chest, with Cindy (Michelle Collins) and Peter (Thomas Law) among those to be suspicious.
Despite claiming that he’s running for council again, Ian’s behaviour doesn’t go unnoticed by his loved ones and, next week, Cindy comes to believe that her partner is having an affair.
Ian is absolutely baffled by such a theory and wastes little time in reassuring Cindy that this simply isn’t the case, before heading off to a mysterious address.
Determined to get to the bottom of things, Cindy forces George Knight (Colin Salmon) to drive her to the address in question.
Cindy and George confront Ian in a big showdown just as Peter and Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) arrive. But just what is Ian hiding?
Just what is this big secret of his?
Elsewhere in the Square, Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) goes on a night out with Gina (Francesca Henry) and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier), but there’s soon concern that she might’ve been spiked.
When the group look for Anna, they can’t find her anywhere.
Anna later wakes up in the hospital. Gina urges her to report the incident to the police but she doesn’t want to.
Will Anna be okay? The much loved character returns home in subsequent scenes, with Freddie quick to check on her.
It’s going to be a big week for the BBC One soap, so make a note not to miss!
EastEnders airs these scenes between Monday, July 15 and Thursday July 18 at 7:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
