EastEnders has revealed the outcome of Dean Wicks’ plea hearing, in the show’s latest episode.
Dean is currently in prison for the m.u.r.d.e.r of Keanu Taylor, but viewers are aware that he has been framed for the crime.
The actual culprit is Linda Carter, who killed Keanu on Christmas Day to try and save Sharon’s life.

Since Christmas, The Six have attempted to cover up the crime by hiding Keanu’s body until it was discovered, and planting evidence to frame Dean.
In the latest episode, Bernie asked Jack if she was able to go to Dean’s plea hearing, and while he said she could, he admitted that he couldn’t attend himself as he is busy at work.
Meanwhile, Linda was busy changing the barrels in the cellar, but Johnny – who knows the real truth – was concerned that his mum was distracting herself from what was happening today.
He reassured her that things would be okay and soon they would be able to get rid of Dean and move on from Keanu, but Linda still looked rattled.

Disappointed by Jack’s absence, Bernie decided to ask Linda if she would come with her to the plea hearing.
She checked with Linda if she really did see Dean dragging Keanu’s body into the café, wanting to make sure that her brother gets justice – but Linda’s hurried response left her confused.
Distressed by the conversation, Linda rushed into the cellar and grabbed a bottle of vodka, but she decided to put it back.
Later, Linda saw Bernie back in the Square and though she tried to walk away, Bernie found her and told her that Dean had pleaded not guilty in court.

Linda blurted out, “Of course he did”, and while she elaborated and said that Dean has never been found guilty of any of his crimes, Bernie was suspicious.
Running away in tears and returning to the cellar, Linda picked up the bottle of vodka again, but this time she took several huge gulps.
Kathy told Sharon that Dean’s court case will be in September, and they were both excited to move on with their lives.
But with actor Matt Di Angelo teasing a “twist” during the upcoming trial, will Dean get sent down for m.u.r.d.e.r?
