EastEnders killer Nish Panesar’s next victim has been ‘revealed’ – and it’s not looking good for one beloved character.
Bad guy Nish (Navin Chowdhry) has caused plenty of drama in Walford since he arrived in 2022. Recently, the nasty businessman revealed to his estranged family that he is terminally ill and has months to live.
Amid Nish’s feud with the Panesars, his grandchildren’s mum Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) offered the dying villain sexual favours in return for all his money after he’s gone. Priya was determined to make sure her kids would be set for life.
Nish accepted the deal, but after Priya’s son Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) was hospitalised following his steroid use, a devastated Priya went back on her word, leaving Nish fuming. Seeking revenge, Nish spun a web of lies.
He told Ravi (Aaron Thiara) that Priya pursued him – causing Ravi to move their daughter, Avani (Aaliyah James), in with him. Alienated from her family, Priya was dealt another blow this week.
Nish’s other son Vinny (Shiv Jalota) kicked her out of their home to win Nish’s trust, in the hope he will be left the Panesar empire. And during Tuesday’s episode (July 31), released early on iPlayer, Priya was determined to visit Nugget in hospital for his next dialysis session.
She teamed up with Denzel (Jaden Ladega) to sneak in to be with him. However, things took a dramatic turn when Nish and Ravi caught her, sparking a big row.
Fuming, Nish pulled Priya aside and cryptically told her: “Thin ice Priya.” He then went on to say how if she carries on, he will make sure she’ll never see her kids again. He fumed: “Trust me,” before adding: “I can make it happen.”
Now, fans fear that Nish will end up killing Priya in what would be a huge twist. Over on an EastEnders Facebook fan page, one viewer mused: “Hmmm, I think Nish will try and murder Priya.”
A second added: “Hope they don’t get Nish to kill Priya really coming round to her, she’s actually becoming a character and not someone who says witty things.” While a third said on X: “Priya didn’t know who she was messing with. I did say that she’ll rub someone up (no pun intended) the wrong way really soon and she’ll end up in a bad way.”
Someone else proclaimed: “I’ve got a very bad feeling about our Priya. I feel she’s going to get caught in the cruel crossfire and end up deceased.”
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer
