EastEnders will introduce a new romantic interest for Callum Highway next week, as he starts to build a
connection with Johnny Carter.
Fans have already seen Callum and Johnny start to interact, after Callum started to grow suspicious over
the circumstances of Keanu Taylor’s death. With Johnny trying to protect his mum Linda’s killer secret,
he put Callum off the scent.
Johnny has already shown some signs of interest in Callum, but their connection will begin to be explored properly in upcoming scenes as Kathy and Ian Beale and Lexi Pearce head off to the US to see Ben Mitchell, who is serving a prison sentence there.

Callum is upset that he hasn’t been able to get the time off work to go and visit his estranged husband, but Johnny decides to make it his mission to cheer Callum up.
Johnny tries to convince Callum to go out with him and enjoy himself, but Callum isn’t in the mood for fun.
Later on, Callum realises he’s missed a call from Ben and is left feeling upset. When Honey Mitchell finds him, she insists that Callum share a drink with her to talk things over.
