1. Teddy confronts Stevie
Billy prepares to throw Stevie a surprise party in The Vic. He tells Will that Stevie and his mum Val shared the same birthday and explains that he doesn’t know where she is.
When Teddy gives Stevie a birthday card at the café, he warns him to stop lying to Billy. Phil overhears this conversation and is intrigued, so he gets Ritchie to investigate.
2. Denzel struggles

Denzel is anxious about going to school, and he gets an angry voice note from Avani before having a tough chat with Amy.
He lies to his dad and heads to the gym instead of school – but he soon starts experiencing pains.
Howie finds out through Amy that Denzel ditched school. Denzel later confronts Amy about this, but she reminds him how he has treated her recently.
3. Billy learns the truth
is thrilled with the party Billy and Will have thrown. In the pub, Billy makes a speech about his dad, and also mentions his mum.
Phil shows up to the party and presents Stevie with the evidence Ritchie has found. Back at the house alongside Teddy and Phil, Stevie tells Billy that his mum is dead.
4. Yolande gets some news

Yolande offers to help with Denzel, as Howie is struggling. But when she tries to work with Amy, Denzel finds out and accuses them of going behind his back.
Levi arrives to tell Yolande that the CPS have charged Pastor Clayton with two counts of sexual assault.
After Denzel thinks Levi is here to see him, Yolande decides to tell him the truth about Pastor Clayton.
She encourages Denzel to seek help himself, and later Howie takes his son to the GP to discuss steroid withdrawal.
5. Billy is furious
Stevie explains Val’s tragic death, and Billy is broken by this devastating news. Phil tells Billy to realise who Stevie really is. Teddy later gives Billy different advice, telling him not to let this rob them of their relationship.
When talking to his dad, Will accidentally reveals to Billy that Phil previously framed Stevie, and Billy is furious with Phil for trying to wreck his new family.
6. Ian has a secret

While anxiously checking his phone, Ian snaps at Anna when she broaches the subject of Bobby’s 21st birthday.
He acts weirdly when Bobby’s birthday is brought up and lies about where he will be the next day, leaving Peter suspicious.
When Cindy and Peter try to find out what Ian is hiding, he tells them he is thinking of running for the council again.
7. Bobby is downcast
Anna recruits Freddie to secretly ask Bobby about ideas for his birthday, but when Bobby realises what they’re doing, he tells them he doesn’t want a fuss.
When Peter tries to talk to Bobby about his special day, he explains that he is in no mood to celebrate.
8. Reiss has a new scheme
As Sonia prepares for her embryo transfer, Reiss gets a call to say that Debbie’s care fees are three months overdue and he has a bill of £18,000 to pay.

Without telling Sonia, Reiss decides to rent out their spare room to get some extra cash – but a furious Sonia soon catches him.
Reiss opens up about his money worries, and Sonia tells him they’ll find a way through – but refuses to get a lodger.
9. Stevie plans his exit
Stevie apologises to Billy and Teddy for everything and plans to leave Walford. After a run in with Phil, Stevie asks Mo to do him a favour.
While Stevie asks Billy if he can say goodbye to his grandchildren, a furious Phil realises his car is missing and calls the police.
10. Sharon helps Reiss
Reiss has some hope when Sharon gives him some work chasing her outstanding invoices.
Taking advantage of this new accounting opportunity, Reiss manipulates the figures to earn him some more money.

He feels bad when Sharon not only gives him his pay but gives him some extra money for doing the job at short notice.
Reiss lies to Sonia again and tells her that he now has enough to pay the care fees.
11. Tommy is caught stealing
Kat and Alfie are sad when Tommy tells them he is hurt that Phil doesn’t seem interested in him anymore.
Later, Tommy is caught stealing from the Minute Mart, and Kat is mortified. Jean suggests that Kat finds him a job to ensure he stays out of trouble.
12. Phil wars with his family
An angry Phil drives a wedge between him and the rest of the Mitchells. Billy and Teddy organise a family dinner but Phil isn’t on the guest list – until Jay invites him.

As Phil arrives, Teddy tries to play peacekeeper, but the meal is tense. Phil says some hurtful things about Stevie, then Harry makes him angry by bringing up his missing car.
13. Teddy woos Sharon
When Harry accidentally knocks a drink over Sharon, Teddy sees an opportunity and asks her out again.
She turns him down, but later he turns up on her doorstep with a new blouse and a bottle of wine.
14. Peter demands answers
As Ian leaves for his council meeting, Peter is still suspicious of his dad. Ian tells an unhappy Cindy that he is going on a leadership course in Manchester, and she can’t go with him.
Having checked with the council, Peter knows that Ian is lying, and he demands to know what is really going on.
