Vile abuser Tom King (James Chase) has revealed his twisted plan to destroy wife Belle’s (Eden Taylor-Draper) life in Emmerdale.
It just gets worse for poor Belle, after her application under Clare’s Law, which allows the police to disclose information to a victim or potential victim of domestic abuse about their partner’s or ex-partner’s offences, revealed nothing.
Tom’s reign of terror continuesTom had been infiltrating her emails, and discovered her plan. In a sickening response, he revealed that he had intimate photos of her that he would happily share.
This is all ahead of a unique episode, which will be broadcast later in the week, that will show us a number of scenarios of how Belle’s situation could unfold.
In tonight’s instalment, we saw him flirt with village youngster Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) when he picked up one of her daughter Esther’s toys from the road.
Belle soon approached, walking Monty the dog, and he warned her to ‘do her worst’ as he’ll ‘always win.’
In the cafe, she asked Ryan Stocks (James Moore) for some technical advice for a ‘friend’, and was taken aback when he told her that it would be likely that if the photos were posted, they would be untraceable back to the IP address.
Realising that she would have to take matters into her own hands, Belle broke into Victoria Cottage – but Tom returned home.
She darted into the cupboard under the stairs until he disappeared, quickly stole his tablet and then made her exit.
Before long, he realised that his device had gone missing and watched the hidden camera which he’d placed in their martial home, Dale Head, to see Belle attempting to work out his password.
Later, he knocked on the front door as a way to get her to leave the property, before using his stolen key to let himself in through the back and steal back his tech.
