Emmerdale‘s Samson D.i.n.g.l.e turns to an unlikely ally for support next week as he prepares for his likely prison sentence.
The troubled teenager relies on advice from his uncle Cain amid fears that he won’t cope behind bars.
Samson recently confessed that he’d lied about the circumstances surrounding his recent s.t.a.b.b.i.n.g at The Hide, which led to Matty Barton finally being freed from jail.
He came clean about trying to rob the bar and restaurant, although he protected ringleader Josh Cope by leaving his name out of it.

As the fallout continues next week, Samson prepares for his plea hearing and he informs his family that he intends to plead guilty.
Samson adds that he knows he’s going to prison and he’s fine with this, but his dad Sam and step-mum Lydia fear that he doesn’t fully understand the harsh reality of what to expect.
Sam asks Aaron to give Samson a pep talk about life in prison, which is overheard by Cain.
Cain then steps in with his own unique tactics to deal with the situation. Sam is stunned to find Cain battering and goading Samson, but Cain explains that it’s some ‘tough-love’ training for prison.
