Emmerdale is lining up a new twist with Nate Robinson ahead of his reported exit from the ITV soap.
The character, who is set to depart later this year according to reports, features in new spoilers that tease he’s hiding something. There’ a new mystery surrounding the character, as well as a row with his father Cain Dingle.
Cain clashes with his son next week on the ITV soap as his wife Moira Dingle continues to act out of character. Amid fans being concerned for her, believing a health story is on the cards, she causes Nate and Cain to fall out in upcoming scenes.
Amid that, it’s clear Nate is keeping something from his loved ones, leaving his ex Tracy Metcalfe confused. Nate will sneak off to take a mystery phone call, while it’s not known who he is talking with or what the conversation is about.
Tracy assumes it’s a new woman in his life after their split, and it’s clear she still has feelings for her ex. But what is Nate up to, and what is he hiding from everyone?
More will be revealed in upcoming scenes ahead of his potential exit from the show. Nate and Cain’s latest run-in comes after Cain catches his son and Moira having a drink together.
It’s clear that all these years later he still isn’t over the pair’s fling nearly five years ago. While the pair have grown closer since then and Moira and Cain are still together, Moira’s weird behaviour and her being cosy with Nate leaves Cain furious.
Nate’s horrified when his dad confronts him over his relationship with Moira , asking what’s going on. Nate’s hurt as he pleads with Cain that their relationship is in a good place, and soon Cain heads off to see to his other kids.
News of Jurell’s rumoured exit first emerged in late June as The Sun claimed the actor himself had decided to move on from soapland. “Nate has been at the centre of some huge storylines and his exit will be no different”, the insider told the publication at the time, explaining that Nate’s exit storyline will be one viewers would hate to miss.
“It will be dramatic and explosive and will go down in Emmerdale history. It won’t be one to miss. Jurell has loved being on the soap but he’s a young actor and it’s understandable he wants to spread his wings. He’s got a lot of talent – not to mention the looks – to become a big star and leaving the soap is the only way he can do that. Five years is a good run but he feels it’s time.”
