Emmerdale’s Moira Dingle is left fighting for her life in a terrifying barn explosion and Nate Robinson is faced with a tough decision
Cain Dingl (Jeff Hordley) is left reeling when he discovers Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) has shared a “kiss” with his son Nate Robinson (Jurrell Carter) information that Caleb Milligan (William Ash) drops like a bomb.
Moira’s attempt to trivialise the kiss provokes an incredulous reaction from Cain, culminating in her storming out in fury. Cain, looking for answers and armed with disbelief, confronts Nate who is caught off guard. A later encounter reveals a battered Nate, much to Moira’s horror; she recognises Cain’s handiwork immediately.
Amidst Cains tirade over her lapse in judgement, Moira begins to experience unnerving flashbacks. In a moment of heightened tension, Moira gives Cain a resounding slap, prompting him to leave the scene. Enter Ruby Fox-Milligan, Beth Cordingly’s character, whose taunting initially seems unwelcome until Moira’s agitation renders her almost catatonic, reports the Manchester Evening News.

In a perilous sequence of events, Moira, mistaking Ruby for her past adversary Emma Barton, played by Gillian Kearney, unwittingly endangers both their lives after spilling tractor fuel.
With Moira now locking them in and hallucinating Emma in place of Ruby, things quickly escalate. A warning shot turns disastrous, igniting a full-blown fire after striking a light bulb.
The struggle for the gun concludes with Ruby incapacitated, and Moira becomes paralysed by fear as the barn is engulfed in flames, desperate inches from an unconscious Ruby.
Upon spotting smoke billowing from a barn in the distance, Emmerdale’s Mack Boyd (played by Lawrence Robb) attempts to contact Moira but to no avail. He quickly heads towards a quad bike parked nearby in the field.
A tense exchange of glances ensues when he encounters John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) at the barn, and they both decide to enter.
Mack alerts Cain, Caleb and Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) about the fire, prompting them to rush towards the barn. Despite his current resentment towards his wife, Cain dashes towards the burning barn, with a frantic Chas trying to restrain him from entering.
They find themselves trapped inside the blazing barn, and soon a massive explosion sends them all sprawling on the ground.
In another part of town, Tracy Robinson (Amy Walsh) informs Nate that she can’t accompany him to Shetland anymore and leaves abruptly. A distraught Nate is left grappling with the loss amidst Tracy’s fury.
