LINDA Carter will struggle to cope as Dean Wicks goes to court for the m.u.r.d.e.r of Keanu Taylor in EastEnders.
On the B.B.C One serial drama, viewers were captivated as ‘The Six’ previously framed the criminal.
In the dramatic Christmas Day special, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) was revealed as the k.i.l.l.e.r of Keanu (Danny Walters) in a highly-anticipated twist.
As the residents of Albert Square were increasingly on their tail, the group figured out that they needed a scapegoat to cover up their crimes.
Linda has always wanted revenge on her bother-in-law since he r.a.p.e.d her in 2014, and this was the perfect way to do it.
It also just so happened that Dean (Matt Di Angelo) was going to flee Walford for a better life in America with his ailing daughter Jade Masood (Elizabeth Green).
He tampered with her antibiotics in the hopes that she would not be well enough to move to Pakistan with her mum, Shabnam.
But before he could get away, Stacey snuck the m.u.r.d.e.r weapon into his flat, acting as if she wanted to make amends with her former pal.
Police soon found the meat thermometer that was placed in his flat and subsequently arrested him for m.u.r.d.e.r.
The force later discovered his plans to ‘flee justice’ and escape the UK, combined with the fact that he withheld money from the Cystic Fibrosis charity so he could fund his move to America.
Although he was charged with Keanu’s m.u.r.d.e.r, he knows someone on the square framed him.
He’s held on remand but he first needs to enter his plea with the judge.
When the day eventually comes, Linda – who is the real k.i.l.l.e.r – will struggle to cope.
Bernie (Clair Norris) will be left devastated when Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) tells her that he will not be able to attend the hearing.
This comes as she becomes distracted by Linda’s evasive behaviour as she avoids giving her the answers she desires.
Later on, Linda is set to confide in Sharon about her worries with the impending trial.
Every detail will be combed over by the prosecution and she worries they might be exposed.
Back at The Vic, her mum Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) gives her another pep talk as she encourages her secretly guilty daughter.
As she is busy wrapping a present for Lexi (Isabella Brown) she spots something extremely concerning.
Linda was known for her battle with alcoholism, and suspicions will rise once again after Elaine spots a empty vodka miniature.
